The next NYAA meeting will be held on Thursday 10/29/09 at 7:30 pm at the Northwestern High School Cafateria. Meetings are always open to the public.

The concession stand is in need of utensils, pots, pans, coffee makers, toasters, crock pots, microwaves and any other kitchen items.

Please think of us when you clean out your drawers & cabinets!

Travel Teams
5th and 6th Grade Player Evaluation Schedule

Players must be registered to participate!

Girls – 5th and 6th Travel
Sunday November 1st - 1:00 to 3:00 Middle School
Tuesday, November 3th - 6:00 to 8:00 pm Weisenberg Elementary
Gary Koenig and Randy Thomas will be coaching the Travel Team.
In addition to these coaches, we will have an independent evaluator present.

 

Boys – JV League and Junior Cadet Travel Team
Wednesday, November 4th - 6:00 to 8:00pm Weisenberg Elementary
Friday, November 6th - 6:00 to 8:00 pm Weisenberg Elementary
Saturday, November 7th – 6:00 to 8:00 pm Middle School (subject to change – based on football playoffs)
 
Stan Kelson, John Segan, Robert Seyfried and Joe Fatzinger will be coaching the Travel Teams.
In addition to these coaches, we will have an independent evaluator present for call backs on Saturday. 
 

The NYAA is the youth sports organization serving the Northwestern Lehigh School District, providing both recreational and competitive sports opportunities for Pre School- through High School-aged boys and girls. 

 The health and vitality of the NYAA is dependent upon parents of younger children to become involved as those with older children, who have contributed for years, phase themselves out of the programs.  Anyone interested in a volunteering, please contact Lorie Karpyn at volunteer@nyaa-sports.org

NYAA NEEDS YOU!

This community sports organization, serving over 1200 families in the Northwestern School District, cannot survive without its dedicated volunteers, and there are never enough to accomplish the goals we have set each season. 

There are plenty of opportunities to contribute to this worthwhile program ...from a few hours inventorying equipment or supplying first aid kits, to organizing teams, lining fields, working in the concession stand, coaching or finding a brand new niche for yourself.

The Northwestern Youth Athletic Association (NYAA) is a volunteer organization created in 1983 for the children of the Northwestern Lehigh School District.  Its purpose is to encourage and actively promote good sportsmanship, leadership, discipline and respect among the team members, parents and coaches.
